Tara Brady Irish Times Parry makes for an amiable travelling companion. Will his unabashed tree-hugging translate at a moment of peak climate-change denial? We do hope so. Rated: 3/5 Oct 13, 2017 Full Review Leslie Felperin Guardian [A] well-meaning but rather woolly doc ... Rated: 2/5 Sep 29, 2017 Full Review Ed Potton Times (UK) However important the message of this film, however couched in research, it's essentially the same fortune-cookie philosophy that he has been regurgitating for years: we need to live in the moment and love each other. Man. Rated: 2/5 Sep 29, 2017 Full Review David Parkinson Radio Times While it may not always be expressed cogently and can occasionally feel a touch New Age, the message of this tranquil, sincere and sensitively made documentary is unquestionably worth heeding. Audience Member Interesting film. Not immediately satisfying, but a delayed action thought provoker. Bruce spends time with different groups who exhibit different approaches to understanding life. The film offers up a theory on whole-brain and, maybe more contraversially to the mainstream, heart based thinking. This brings into focus, for me, how our cultural development has been farmed out to groups who have successfully peddled misconceptions about the bigger picture. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member An exceptionally moving and inspirational experience which exceeded all expectations. An incredibly thought-provoking watch. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member A contemplative, gently provocative film about the human condition, and what can be done to reconnect. The only thing lacking is the female voice, which hopefully will be present in bruce's next film. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member A wonderful and important film. Bruce Parry's best to date. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member A beautiful and thought-provoking film. It's not a straight-forward message that Bruce is trying to convey but he and his team do it well. For some the concept of 'one-ness' or being connected will be nothing new but the film presents it in a new and accessible way. A must-see for everyone! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Tawai is a beautiful film. It is such an important message for our time and we desperately need to be woken up to what we are doing to our planet. It was so inspiring to see how the tribes people live - how they are connected to the forest, to each other and how loving they are. At the same time, it was devastating to see that their way of life could be coming to an end due to our greed and disconnection. It was great that the film delved into the way our brain operates and how that affects our actions in relation to these things, so that we could try and make sense of it all. Well done to Bruce and everyone involved. I hope this film receives the credit it deserves. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
