Nell Minow Common Sense Media Think twice before hailing this Taxi. Rated: 2/5 Dec 28, 2010 Full Review Hank Sartin Chicago Reader I expected this to be much funnier: Latifah coasts on her charm, and Fallon seems incapable of playing an actual character. Audience Member Rotten Tomatoes, hang up ur evaluation credentials. Do u ever put urself in the viewers' shoes? Lighthearted isn't in ur vocabulary. Nor is humor! The chase scenes wit Queen Latina are priceless. Oh, wait, no sex! Sure there are slow periods but the rest of it is a funny family show! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 09/01/25 Full Review Aye E I like Queen Latifah and Fallon, but daaaaang this is bad. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 09/01/25 Full Review j.m B The fundamental problem with foreign film adaptations is the casting of the actors, which is most often a disaster. Taxi is no exception to the rule; it's not the actors' fault, but it becomes so when the chemistry between them doesn't work. Moreover, no one is credible for a single second in their role, even in situations that are supposed to be funny by nature. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 08/27/25 Full Review Markus A Queen Latifah is pathetic in this flat-tyred vehicle partnered with an appalling Jimmy Fallon who is as funny now as he was in 2004. One of the worst movies ever made. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 08/21/25 Full Review MAURA S HOW THIS MOVIE GOT SUCH A LOW RATING IS BEYOND ME ITS AWESOMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE AND SO FUNNY!!!
