I really enjoyed the atmosphere, message and character in this movie. Despite not saying much, Dayo's emotions are shown clearly within the setting, and his struggle of choice and acceptance is relatable despite the very specific movie setting. The choice between who we want to be and who others want us to be will always be a compelling story format. Sound mixing was a bit off, but that might have just been my copy. The other criticism of this movie are valid but I enjoyed watching it and didn't feel as though it took much away from the wider story they were trying to tell.
