I enjoyed the movie. I was expecting to see a sad movie about down trodden people living in miserable situations. It was very pleasant and told a beautiful story about someone that is a legend to her people. I would recommend this movie for anyone including your children as it is a great lesson on a great person.

Sometime fate will lead in the path you need to go. In the movie Te Ata is basically about her seeing the struggle of being native, which as impacted her to move forward and tell the world stories of her culture to make a change.
