Jane (Sue England) is on the scene when a robbery occurs, and she is taken into custody with her friend Terry (Mollie McCart). After Terry's delinquent boyfriend, Mike (Tommy Cook), helps them escape, they take refuge in an old farmhouse. Audience Member Another movie about dumb kids sticking their noses into guns. You can't really like any of the characters, as they're either mean or lousy. Most of the film takes place in a single room, which gets pretty old. The ending is unsatisfactory and doesn't seem to prove much. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member another B movie 'juvenile delq' pic Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member This is one of the most annoying and unlikable movies I've ever laid eyes on. Seriously. Teen-Age Crime Wave (aka Jailbait) has about as much appeal as a turd in the trash. The actors are mostly just annoying, and you can't get invested in the story at all because you just want to get up and shut it off. I have to say though, I have sort of an aversion to movies like this. At least, movies made in this era. Instead of trying to create complex situations with what feel like real people, they just try to put some kind of heavy-handed message in about the rebellion of youth and the consequences if it goes too far. It doesn't help when the characters are annoying and you just want to slap them for everything that comes out of their mouth. The only thing notable about it is that it was featured on an episode of Mystery Science Theater 3000, and it's an episode I don't even like as a consequence. Others may disagree, but I just hated this movie outright. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Really not that bad of a movie at all. Preachy, sure. But it was made in the fifties. What were you expecting? (Made even better by a terrific MSTing.) Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member This is laughably bad, but the ending is too spontaneous and sloppy to make it worthwhile (thankfully MST3K does). Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Not the WORST movie I've ever seen about teenagers in their twenties going on a crime spree and terrorizing a rural family before getting in a high speed chase that ends inside one of Griffith Observatory's telescopes.
