In TEEN WOLF THE MOVIE, a full moon rises in Beacon Hills and with it a terrifying evil has emerged. The wolves are howling once again, calling for the return of Banshees, Werecoyotes, Hellhounds, Kitsunes and every other shapeshifter in the night. But only a werewolf like Scott McCall (Tyler Posey), no longer a teenager yet still an Alpha, can gather both new allies and reunite trusted friends to fight back against what could be the most powerful and deadliest enemy they've ever faced.

CT Jones Rolling Stone In trying to set up a new story about a teenage werewolf, Teen Wolf: The Movie fails the characters it already has, and makes a bigger mess in the process. Jan 26, 2023 Full Review Brian Lowry CNN.com Any fans of the show howling for encore will likely welcome the “Fangs for the memories” nostalgia, as the characters reunite to face a new and mysterious threat. Even so, the executive falls flat. Jan 26, 2023 Full Review Ray Greene AV Club This fantasy project about werewolves and demons and reawakened intellectual property has the rhythm of an old-school TV soap, with most scenes ending on a note of irresolution or incompletion. Rated: C- Jan 24, 2023 Full Review Martin Carr We Got This Covered Tyler Hoechlin and Tyler Posey return with a wealth of familiar faces, but Teen Wolf is a by the numbers nod to past glories. It may seek to set up new series Wolf Pack with this fan closer, but an overwhelming sense of mediocrity leaves it wanting. Rated: 3 Feb 19, 2023 Full Review Brian Costello Common Sense Media While the action is brisk, the acting is often inconsistent. Some are better than others. Rated: 2/5 Feb 7, 2023 Full Review Joey Rambles Cultured Vultures Teen Wolf: The Movie lacks the fun, thrill, and high energy of the show that made it so popular in the first place, instead giving us a lifeless paint-by-numbers adventure that overstays its welcome. Ceasar S I loved it. Good story, great to see the cast. Fun performances, and not too serious. The cast looks amazing as usual, and it looks like they had fun making it. The critics didnt like it, but then the critics hate everything thats fun. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/31/24 Full Review Brendan W Teen Wolf: The Movie is a triumphant return to the world of Beacon Hills, delivering a thrilling, heartfelt adventure that feels like the ultimate fan service for hardcore fans like me who’ve been yearning to see the gang reunite for one more epic journey. This movie is a love letter to the fans, blending nostalgia, action, and emotional moments in a way that perfectly captures the spirit of the original series. The cast effortlessly steps back into their iconic roles, reigniting the chemistry and camaraderie that made the show so beloved. The story not only honors the legacy of the series but also pushes it forward, offering fresh twists and intense stakes that keep you engaged. The action sequences are top-notch, the callbacks are a treat, and the emotional beats hit all the right notes. As for the negative reviews—they’re completely exaggerated. This film isn’t just for casual viewers; it’s a heartfelt reunion crafted for the fans who grew up with Teen Wolf and have waited patiently for this moment. It’s everything we could have hoped for and more, proving that Beacon Hills still has plenty of stories to tell. If you’re a fan of the series, this is a must-watch that will leave you howling with joy. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/19/24 Full Review Zoey B I have watched the teen wolf seasons over and over matter of fact right now I'm watching it over again. with that being said I think they did a great job with the story in the movie however I feel like they put ALOT in one movie I feel like they should've either put it into two parts or turned it into seasons but with that being said it was still a good movie just a lot going on in it at once even for teen wolf Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/13/24 Full Review Jacob C Good as a piece of media from the Teen Wolf universe, but weak as an overall piece. While it's worth watching if your interested in Teen Wolf, you have no choice but to acknowledge the apparent flaws.
