don s When you watch a Seaver movie, you know what you are getting: very low budget. Seaver's humor is sophomoric (which is why I watch his movies) and not for everyone. Some resonate with me more than others. This one was merely okay; it didn't really capture my attention. The storyline was too reminiscent of Mulva 2, and I found some of the humor more offensive than funny. Most people are going to hate it. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Chris Seaver is a guy who makes hilariously bad, sub-Youtube quality movies that looks like they're shot with a home camcorder in his own apartment, starring his friends and neighbors. These movies are distributed by Blockbuster and Netflix. So what's YOUR excuse? Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Chris Seaver and the Low Budget Pictures gang are back with their combination spoofing of Ernest Goes to Camp and Surviving the Game as a bevy of our most beloved reoccurring LBP characters come together for the ultimate romp. Our favorite anti-hero Teenape heads to summer camp to assist Heather (Meredith Host, of the Heather & Puggly films) as Camp Arawak counselors. Things heat up with the addition of Teenape's ultimate rival, Hollywood star Choach (A.J. Stabone's reoccurring character). Some LBP favorites turn up within the actual campers, including the always hilarious Josh Suire and Jesse Ames (my new love crush). Things heat up even more when Teenape realizes this is not a camping trip, but a hunting expedition with the most dangerous game being Teenape. Things look down for him, but we soon start to realize that the hunters will quickly become the hunted. Classic retarded comedy from Seaver and company that essentially goes by the "Shoot first, ask questions later" method of filmmaking as Seaver tries to pack as many gags, jokes, comedic references into an hour with total disregard for conventional filmmaking aesthetics (i.e. plot, story arch, three acts, etc). This film, like all other LBP movies, are STRICTLY for the fans, as well as those with open minds who "get" where Seaver and company are coming from. That's roughly 10%; the other 90% will NOT get this, so please do not even bother watching this film, because your ignorant rating will only hurt that, and THIS LBP fan would not appreciate that very much at all. Great stuff! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Our hero Teenape who talks like a rapper, is sexist, and prone to violence, is called in for a favor to help run a camp full of misfits. This is exactly like a Troma movie but without Troma's high level of standards. The movie talks a sharp turn half way in it's 61 minute running time that some would say is a twist but I think they just ran out of ideas and changed the plot. If you like bad movie you can give this one 3 stars. If you don't give it 1. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie had no business being as entertaining as it one. Funny on a completly stupid level Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Read all reviews
