Audience Member A great spy thriller movie having excellent work by Charles Bronson and Lee Remick, love to see it again and agian. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Great 70's movie with a good script. This even could even be true, not just fiction. Realistic like any 007 or Mission Impossible movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review delysid d death wish was his best movie Rated 2 out of 5 stars 10/02/18 Full Review Audience Member Not too realistic, but probably one of the first movies that tried to be balanced in depiction of the Russians. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Slow moving with a laconic Bronson taking his sweet time doing much of anything. There is zero chemistry between the leads and the ending is lame. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member I really expected a lot more from a Charles Bronson/Don Siegel collaboration. It's not a terrible film, but the script is terrible. It's full of gigantic plot holes that fundamentally compromise the film. That it's not outright terrible says a lot for Siegel and the film's terrific cast that also includes Donald Pleasence and Patrick Magee. Richard Schickel TIME Magazine Instead of winding tighter and tighter, as a suspense story should, Telefon just winds down, rather like -- come to think of it -- a phone call between two people who don't really have much to say to each other. Jul 21, 2015 Full Review Gary Arnold Washington Post Following Telefon is about as thrilling as being kept on hold for the better part of the day. Jul 21, 2015 Full Review Variety Staff Variety Tyne Daly is notable as a CIA staffer. Remick's teaming with Bronson is a graceful one for both players. Mar 26, 2009 Full Review Rene Jordan El Nuevo Herald (Miami) For those who leave their logic parked outside the theater doors, the film is a farce that doesn't bore.
