Roger Ebert Chicago Sun-Times This is a scummy little sewer of a movie, a cesspool that lingers sadistically on shots of a killer terrifying and killing helpless women, and then is shameless enough to end with an appeal to law and order. Rated: 0/4 Apr 29, 2018 Full Review Mike Massie Gone With The Twins Both a murder/mystery and a teen-oriented slasher, before morphing into a very unlikely revenge picture. Rated: 6/10 Aug 31, 2020 Full Review Octavi Marti El Pais (Spain) Lee Thompson's 10 to Midnight is identical to its predecessors. [Full Review in Spanish] Aug 29, 2019 Full Review Matt Brunson Film Frenzy An alternately nifty and nasty police procedural. Rated: 2.5/4 Jan 25, 2019 Full Review Mike McGranaghan Aisle Seat Is this is a good movie? Not really. Is it entertaining to watch? Absolutely. Rated: 1.5/4 Jan 23, 2019 Full Review Felix Vasquez Jr. Cinema Crazed Feels like a big turning of the tide for Bronson's character, who unlike other action heroes of the period, might have had to face harsh repercussions in the end. Melissa L I think this was much better than the ratings given here. It's not much of a mystery; it's more of a suspense/ early slasher. I think I've never watched a Charles Bronson movie before. I liked the ending, and I recommend it. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/24 Full Review Carlos I A sleazy midnight movie that has grown to be one of my favorite of Bronson's. It's an effective slasher flick, with Charlie thrown in to hunt the killer. What more could you ask for?! Helps that it has a dynamite ending. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/24/23 Full Review Brad P Although more of a police procedural film than outright horror, 10 to Midnight still fits comfortably within Bronson's wheelhouse – even if the picture doesn't supply him with an endless horde of thugs to indiscriminately annihilate with impunity. The acting is strong across the board, the story taut, and the climax gives Bronson one of his most succinct, enduring one-liners. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/02/23 Full Review Ross F A master piece of the ages, even if you had to pause it repeatedly on your VHS or BetaMax to fully grasp the plot-thickeners. Sexy handsome naked (to limit the evidence, obvi) killer with a formidable piece for his work - back when full frontal was edgy - this was well a head of its time. American Psycho with balls. Not to miss. Stand and clap. And the best of Bronson to boot. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Matthew L Bronson at his finest........... Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/01/22 Full Review Audience Member 1983: A cop and his new partner investigate a series of murders, mostly women, with the victims stabbed in the stomach. They determine the suspect is a young man who chooses his victims from those women who reject him. The suspect is arrested, but is let go when it is discovered the cop planted evidence. Soon, the suspect, who knows of the cop's daughter, plots to kill her, while the cop continues to dog the suspect. Good cop drama. The suspect is very creepy (and commits his murders in the nude). Acting is fine, though Charles Bronson's cop character does show remnants of his Death Wish character. Geoffrey Lewis plays well as a slimy defense lawyer. Worth a look. Stars: Charles Bronson, Andrew Stevens, Gene Davis, Lisa Eilbacher, Wilford Brimley, and Geoffrey Lewis. Director: J. Lee Thompson Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Read all reviews
