While working part-time as a food deliveryman, Antoine, an aspiring young rapper from the suburbs of Paris, meets Mrs. Loyseau, an eminent teacher at the Paris Opéra. Stunned by the young man's raw talent, she introduces him to the world of opera. As Antoine becomes one of Mrs. Loyseau's students, he hides his new dream from his friends and family, fearing that they won't understand -- this double life burdens him... Somewhere in between the gilded and uptight Parisian upper-class, and the harsh yet free-spirited and familiar suburbs he grew up in, Antoine will have to find his own voice.

Gortee U The movie is great, especial i love the story of it, tho at the end once everything went down, immediately got back like nothing had happend, and some critics say that some tunes are off Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 11/24/24 Full Review Laurie F Formulaic, manipulative and clichéd. Silly storyline and one dimensional characters. A great waste of pixels but at least the theatre was air conditioned and my house is very hot. It was nice to be in a cool dark space. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 12/13/23 Full Review Musviten It was just good! Nothing bad at all! Only enjoying to watch. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/18/23 Full Review Victoria D Just listening to the trailer made me want to see the movie. I don't know much about what's going on in the music community right now, but I know that the beat and movement of this movie made me feel every note and every word! Must see! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/17/23 Full Review Jim H This was another movie of an individual''s climb to success. The principal characters were strongly drawn and well acted.and the story complex but well told. The singing interspersed throughout was a joy and the Opera Garnier a fine backdrop.
