Yoosik Ethan O Campy mindless fun somewhat that you might like for halloween. Don't expect to be on the edge of your seat that much. It's pretty predictable , and so bad it's almost funny. How many times do people mistake dead people for pranks? A lot which is ridiculous considering the smell would make it obvious. But like I said, it's so bad, it's almost funny. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 10/21/23 Full Review Edward F It's weird. The plot was good, like the original, the horror was good, I even appreciated the twist where his mom was involved, but the wokeness was unbearable, with a few other things that were lame. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 10/02/23 Full Review Chris M 9% from Critics? A slasher movie and a remake doesn't get good reviews from critics? That claim they aren't bias, shocker! This plays pretty much the same as the original movie. With no deviations. Until it comes to who the killer is. No spoilers but the twist is not original and has a connection to another slasher movie twist. The characters were slightly annoying in the first one. But the characters are REALLY annoying in this one. Including one named Doc that is down right a criminal. How did he not go to jail years before the movie started? Lastly, again no spoilers. But there is sequel bait that wasn't in the original. Which is odd considering 80s slashers always had sequel bait. Not as good as the first but pretty, pretty good. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/16/23 Full Review brad p This redux fails to set itself apart from its predecessor in any meaningful way. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review steve d Solid remake that improves on many of the original's ideas. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Paul Lê Bloody Disgusting As underwhelming as this remake ends up being, the biggest crime is its lack of imagination. Rated: 2/5 Jul 21, 2023 Full Review Mark H. Harris Black Horror Movies I hesitate to call this remake pointless, because it’s certainly nice to have POC leads in a horror movie, but otherwise, it’s an inferior retread. Rated: 2.3/5 Nov 18, 2022 Full Review Jonathan DeHaan Nightmare on Film Street As predictably entertaining as an episode of The Simpsons, Slasher movies are a comfort food for the macabre movie fan. If this is already a subgenre that you rock with, Terror Train (2022) is a slasher flick you can easily curl up with. Rated: 6/10 Nov 2, 2022 Full Review Roger Moore Movie Nation Taking another shot at “Terror Train,” which Jamie Lee, the Queen of Screams, filmed back in 1980, isn’t a bad idea. Not improving on a nut-with-a-knife thriller that wasn’t all that to start with is. Rated: 1.5/4 Oct 29, 2022 Full Review Jason Shawhan Nashville Scene The original had Jamie Lee Curtis, Vanity and Hart Bochner. This one doesn’t really allow anyone to shine in such a capacity, but it’s essential viewing for anyone who loves the genre and is interested in how aesthetics shift.
