the s Anytime you see the writer/director/producer's name flashed up on the screen SIX TIMES in the first 45 seconds, it's a pretty good indication that the movie is going to be horrible. Dan Garcia: if you're out there, spend a little more time on your script and directing and less time propping yourself out. Also, the dvd cover I have suggests that it's part of the ‘Vacancy' movies (Vacancy 3) but it's clearly not associated with either of the first 2 vacancy movies and aside from taking place at a motel, has nothing in common with the first 2. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member It was okay. Reasonably well executed without being overly exciting. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/04/18 Full Review Audience Member what a POS (piece of shit) i'd give it zero stars if I could Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member epten amaterski film so Michael Madsen i Jeff Fahey Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member When a couple are involved in a crash and their car is wrecked, and the local Police officer takes them to a local motel to stay the night, they soon discover that things are not as they seem. Here we have a low budget horror movie that would appear to have spent most of it's cash on two B-List actors and left nothing for any other part of the movie. The story steals a majority of it's plot elements from all the other torture porn movies you have seen (Vacancy, Hostel, etc.) and the original ideas that are there make absolutely no sense whatsoever. The production values are mixed, as the sequences with the main couple are very well handled, but the sequences of the 'audience' watching look like they were added in at the last moment and shot on a home video with a few mates. A majority of the gore is off-screen and all you get to see is a couple of cuts and a few naked chicks. The acting is all over the place, from the completely wooden to they totally overt the top, but it was good to see Jeff Fahey being quite psychotic, and a special mention must go to Michael Madsen as I could not actually work out what is what actually doing in the film, but he did it very well. All in all this is a film that tried to have some good ideas, but seemed to fall at every hurdle. There are many other similar movies out there and all of them are a lot better. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Terror Trap (Dan Garcia, 2010) It seems The Asylum is not the only company dabbling in the mockbuster business these days. Most Wanted Films, the company behind Lockjaw: Rise of the Kulev Serpent, bankrolled this horrible knockoff of Vacancy so similar I'm surprised writer/director Dan Garcia didn't get sued. (I suspect there's a cadre of Hollywood lawyers who have it down to a science how many scenes have to be different in order to stop studio A from suing studio B for plagiarism, and this movie is right on the border.) The only thing that marginally redeems this flick is the interplay between Michael Madsen and Jeff Fahey, of which there is far too little here to redeem this in any way. If you've seen Vacancy, which wasn't all that great in the first place, you don't need to bother with this-and if you haven't, that is certainly preferable to this. 1/2 Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Read all reviews
