Paul S It's bad, it's like watching a train wreck Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/26/23 Full Review Audience Member The acting in this movie may be the worst acting I’ve ever seen. Just a terrible production. Don’t waste your time Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 06/28/21 Full Review Audience Member Texas Heart is an indie suspense film directed by Mark David. The plot concerns a man on the run who ends up in a small Texas town and ultimately finds an opportunity for personal redemption while he is there. I enjoy indie films like this that tell a unique story, this one about people in small town USA. There are a few recognizable actors, which is always fun, and some solid performances by others who I'm not as familiar with. If you're looking for an original indie film to watch tonight, maybe one with (Texas) heart, then I'd recommend checking out Texas Heart! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member I loved this movie because it combines the charms and quirks of indie cinema with the intelligent, fine-tuned script of a John Grisham-style drama. This is the type of movie that a decade or two would have been picked up by Cinemax or Showtime but now is increasingly migrating to outlets like Amazon. Effectively balances, drama, humor, small town observation and thriller elements with Erik Fellows anchoring a strong ensemble. The film is propelled by a strong sense of purpose and an underdog, chip-on-its-shoulder determination to prove that it can tell a solid, suspenseful story on a smaller budget. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Absolutely terrible movie. The acting, across the board, was awful. The stereotyped dialogue was more fitting a parody. The plot had one hole after another. There is nothing to recommend this movie. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Erik Fellows, Cam Dabrowski were quite good. Truly heart-warming and very positive. Loved the rural settings. Well done. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Gary Goldstein Los Angeles Times An involving, largely likable film with a sincere emotional core. Jun 2, 2016 Full Review Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com This ensemble cast is more than up to the task of handling this intelligently written and emotionally honest material. Rated: 2.5/4.0 Sep 26, 2020 Full Review Diana Saenger ReviewExpress.com Interesting Turnabout with Twists and Turns Rated: 4 Sep 5, 2017 Full Review Simon Foster Screen-Space "A finer, more compelling and ultimately satisfying drama than it's initial premise might suggest." Rated: 3.5/5 Aug 8, 2017 Full Review David N. Butterworth La Movie Boeuf This Texan crime drama wears its heart so high on its sleeve that light bruising is inevitable.
