Stephanie Archer Film Inquiry Thankskilling is far from a good film, ranking fowl on almost every aspect of filmmaking - but when it comes to entertainment, Thankskilling has the potential to become a new Thanksgiving traditional favorite. Dec 9, 2023 Full Review Patrick Cavanaugh The Wolfman Cometh Knows exactly what it is and delivers on its promise, but it won't appeal to anyone outside of those who think the title is actually clever. Cats4life 3 This is incredible piece of cinema. I laughed so many times. I will absolutely make all friends and family watch this Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/23/24 Full Review J M A bad movie can actually be a work of art. There are many categories and sub-categories of bad movies. They are by far the most difficult to review. A movie like this, made on an estimated $3,500 budget, has its own set of pleasures that a "good" movie can never achieve. And while it often tries too hard to be as bad as it can, I think the filmmakers achieve what they're trying to accomplish for the most part. And while it doesn't achieve the art of something like Tommy Wiseau's THE ROOM, this is a movie I would happily sit through again. If you don't like bad movies and/or are easily offended, don't give this movie a second thought. Believe me, you'll turn it off in minutes after the most memorable opening line of dialogue in recent memory. But if you're at home with some family or friends and you all are just in goofy moods and need a few good laughs, your mind will potentially be blown by the level of amateurish acting, poor production values and inept writing. I had more laughs "at" this movie than I have "with" other more legitimate comedies, and so, on a certain level, these guys and gals should be somewhat proud of themselves. It's barely over an hour long, so if you're needing to kill some time, you might find yourself shockingly entertained. And if not, well, at least you can say you gave it a shot. I'd encourage you to at least watch until the introduction of Sheriff Roud, who sports the fakest mustache in motion picture history. - Jeff Marshall, Movie Blogger (Facebook) Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/18/24 Full Review Logan D When a fowl evil is awakened, several college students are terrorized by a smart @$$ed turkey. Rather than the film as a whole being so bad it's good, there are moments of awful goodness throughout the film that kept me hoping for more. I can't believer, however, the same person directed The Head Hunter, one of my favorite fantasies ever. Perhaps it's because that film has little to no dialogue? Still, if you're in the mood for silly holiday fair you might wanna give Thankskilling a shot. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 12/26/23 Full Review MOVIE E Someone please burn this movie with holy fire and erase it from my memory.
