Sarah Y @Princess_Sarah_Yo Jan 2 What in the world was I watching the plot was so confusing, and for a lil bit I swear we forgot what the story was about. It starts of as a romance, with Joe marrying Lily, especially with her having a child, with a wealthy man named Lionel. Then there is a shift with characters with us meeting Bridget, who I assume was in love with Joe, and then the plot turns into a murder with Lionel murdering Joe's brother who knows this secret and Bridget's cousin marrying Lionel and there being a clause of her providing money if she marries him. And so I just felt the plot started losing itself, not knowing what direction it would go and by the end, the plot mushes, and forget what it was about. Wouldn't recommend! I originally watched the film because Samantha Bond is in it and she is one of my favourite actresses but I immediately fell in love with it. See more 11/15/2007 Bit of romantic froth. The plot os predictable. A few nice performances, but not worth much as a drama or a historical piece. See more Read all reviews
