Although the British naval forces attempt to bribe Lafitte to help them attack New Orleans and Gen. Andrew Jackson, Lafitte feels a sense of obligation to America, despite attempts by the corrupt Senator Crawford to portray him as a liar.       Alexander H This movie is very excellent. The entire thing is fun and good and well directed and the score is good and the cinematography is good. The things look good when they should. It is sad when it should be. It is funny when it should be.
