Audience Member This is a Korean romantic movie. It is only partly successful. Our leading man, Dong-hyeon, is not fully sympathetic. In fact, he is something of a selfish cad. The leading lady, Soo-hyeon, is much more appealing. She is disappointed in love. But, she keeps plugging away. She is also quite cute. She begins email exchanges with the unknown leading man, Dong-hyeon. The story is pretty good. There are interesting supporting characters. There are more than a few twists and turns. But, the hero, Dong-hyeon, is a problem. This guy is a disappointment on many levels. He seems to deserve everything he does not get. The behavior of the hero at the end did not make much sense. But, it was consistent with his earlier actions. Will these 2 characters finally meet? Will they find "true love"? The audience is kept waiting for most of the movie. And, the answer is not fully satisfactory. You could argue the ending resembles real life. It was a marginally OK flic. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member Weird, boring version of You've Got Mail. Stupid ending. Should have walked out. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member This came out a year before "You've Got Mail" and is a more somber look at two people who meet over the Internet and develop a bond. Jeon Do-yeon is fabulous, of course. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Read all reviews
