Sai M I truly enjoyed this story that gives insight into an area of New Orleans history that is been riddled in mystery and obscurity and I feel that Vanessa Williams did an excellent job with her portrayal of Henriette. Lovers of historical romance and New Orleans will especially enjoy this moving tale. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 07/09/24 Full Review Audience Member As far as made-for-TV dramas go this one was pretty good. The story was laid out in a sad and heartbreaking way and even the happy ending was bittersweet. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member The story of one brave woman who dared to sacrifice everything for what she believed in. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Pre abolistion of Slavery period film about creoles and the courage of one woman to stand up to the system. A moral tale of love, of serving God and ones fellow man. A sad, moving story. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member A story not often told of the Old Orleans, this tells us where the Creoles came from. I love this movie. Vanessa Williams Gil Bellows and Diahann Caroll were amazing. A little known story but one of my absolute favorites.
