12/29/2011 Lots of timeline jumps and a story set in the middle of the darkest period in Polish communism has given us a decent movie. Polish cinema isn't well known in the English world. In fact, I'm not the biggest fan of it myself, but this film is definitely nothing to be ashamed of. See more 09/17/2011 I give strog 4.5 stars. An intricate story within a story. The subtitles were a little off with the choice of words, so it sometimes took a moment to understand the meaning, but the character expressions explained so much.
