Audience Member Intelligent viewers will be insulted by this 'film,' which has all the punch of an ongoing TV series. Call it "Sex and the City Redux" with even MORE shallow people who have no clue about life. They drink beer a lot. They have sex a fair bit. They have Manhattan apartments, but don't work. I never did figure out how many of them are all taking the same literature course, which allows the director to hopelessly try to fit the great book Wuthering Heights into making the few alleged statements about the underpinnings of these people's lives. The one accurate part is that in the end there is no resolution. They are all still involved romantically with the people they were involved with at various points in the excruciating non-action.
