Dennis Schwartz Dennis Schwartz Movie Reviews A sordid psychological thriller, that is supposed to knock the socks off the viewer by comparing a hit man's preparation with a writer exercising the creative process. Rated: C+ Feb 20, 2013 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Anton, a struggling author, is dumbfoundedly taken in by the sneaky killer Mikhail, to give him inspiration, or rather 'experience' in order to construct and make his books seem more, well, real, and solid. But then, it all backfires and Anton is in for some more trouble he could ever ask for. It's basically all cat and mouse from there. For some odd reason, I really enjoyed this movie. I found it nicely interesting and the storyline was pretty cool. This film is surprisingly entertaining and just kind of a cold-ish thrill. I found it fun to watch, as well. Some suspenseful moments pact into this too. Just overall interesting. Nonetheless It's filmed nicely and just a decent film in all. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Potential not fulfilled! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member This isn't the film with Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze, but a Russian film about a writer who writes about a fictional hired killer, and a real hired killer who draws the writer into his world with the promise of giving him insight into the reality and thinking his 'work', only for the writer to find himself tricked into being in that world far deeper than he had wanted or anticipated. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member História incrivél de amor Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Gets a bit slow in the middle, but picks up after that, the guy who plays the assassin rules, and overall, a pretty good Russian film.
