s r Poor, weird, and alternative, but it ends in a moral that shows that things are not what they always seem. Some beach boys and girl kidnap a mafioso trying to get a ransom. But things take turns for the serious and it is just not the best show. Some good dialogue at times, but nothing really happens in a believable way. Strong cast though. Roger Ebert Chicago Sun-Times The film as a whole is well made, if a trifle slowly paced, and one or two of the comedy sequences are inspired. Rated: 2.5/4 Nov 19, 2018 Full Review Tony Mastroianni Cleveland Press The movie is loaded with slapstick, throw-away lines, and sight gags but occasionally pulls up sharply on a note of pathos.
