isla s This should be enjoyed by fans of the TV series. Its, unsurprisingly for anyone who is familiar with it, pretty 'off the wall', with very exaggerated characters and some pretty absurd plot details/elements. Its pretty entertaining all the same. The budget for this film clearly wasn't exactly large but I think some of the quirky amusement I got from it comes from its low budget feel. Not exactly a greatly memorable film as such but a reasonably enjoyable watch regardless. Steve and Reece never fail to impress me with the various characters they portray and, certainly for Steve, the way he manages to manipulate his face to look more the part. I would recommend this film primarily to fans of the TV series 'The League of Gentlemen'. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review colin m This movie was okay. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member I loved almost every minute of it. It's very, very funny, surreal and even sweet. Amazing acting and great script! Of course, you should be familiar with the series to understand it, but it's an awesome addition to the show. I love this film! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member The meta elements are a philosophers dream. As is Hilary Briss and the homunculus (like in Jason and the Argonauts) Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Some really clever ideas, but I much preferred the first two seasons. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review simon d Unusually for a movie made from a TV series, it doesn't try to appeal to a different audience, in fact, if you haven't watched the show then you might get a bit lost. The comedy is good and the story is quite clever but I was hoping for more of the characters from the show, in fact I was hoping for an extended episode but this is not it. Still, it's a class series and this finishes it off quite well. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
