S R Saw it for its title and premise. It was a cute Italian comedy that had me going, but then it fell apart at the end. It's still a nice time period gem. Saw on hbo. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/04/24 Full Review Audience Member Roberto Rossellini's unusual comic fantasy is a bit uneven but enjoyable to watch. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member a masterpiece indeed! Can't believe it's not that well rated! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Within the world of an artist's picture are other pictures that, when photographing their prints, kills their initial subjects - look at it as a poignant 'out' to teach something about acceptance of life to this dimensional-traveler Celestino. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member Restored and remastered to be shown at the LFF this postwar Italian fantasy / comedy / treatise has what all Italians see in themselves - good doses of religion, politics, family and corruption... with a sprinkle of moral philosophy, too. Ripe for a remake according to my companion that evening - I don't disagree. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Very bizarre dark comedy from Italy. Still, it was interesting, even if I didn't really understand it. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Read all reviews
