Audience Member Mind you, I thought it was good in 1969 when I was 12. I saw it twice at my local theater. I suspect now it would bore me stupid. But I was a fan of Laugh In. And Carol Linley. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie is exactly what you would expect form Rowan & Martin... ridiculous and silly with beautiful women. If you're a fan of Rowan & Martin, this is a must-see. If you're a fan of Julie Newmar... a must-see. Mind you, this is not high art. This is just goofiness for the sake of silliness. Expect nothing and be amused. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Silly, corny, stupid, fun spoof on Horror Films Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member I saws this one when it was first showing, somewhere in L. A. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member an interesting yet not successful picture. a spoof of monster movies starring the comedy team of Rowan & Martin. the story is silly but not as silly as the ending. there are a few familiar faces to add to the merriment of maltese besides dan and dick. there is robert reed.fritz weaver.mildred natwick carol lynley and even a future star from laugh-in pamela rogers. a comical curio for a good time to kill with comedy.but the best part of the movie is the beautiful Julie Newmar. who has romance wiith dan rowan Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Hurray! Judith Crist New York Magazine/Vulture The film gets off to an absolutely hilarious start, a grand takeoff on movie credits and moviemaking. Then, alas, it settles down to a spotty sort of The Cat and the Canary comedy -- before coming up with one of the funniest finales on record. Jan 1, 2020 Full Review Mike McGranaghan Aisle Seat It is an imbecilic film. Look that up in your Funk and Wagnalls. Rated: 1/4 Oct 28, 2012 Full Review Read all reviews
