Audience Member Interesting but draggy docudrama about the life and mysterious death on Italian oil magnate Enrico Mattei, alternating between scenes of his life with the years of investigation (both official and not) that followed. Rated 3.5/5 Stars •  Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 06/22/18 Full Review Audience Member "The Mattei Affair" is essentially an interesting story, somewhat marred by lacklustre direction. Told in an annoyingly fragmented flashback style, nothing much seems to happen, apart from the unpleasant plane crash scenes at the very start, which are repeated at the very end.
