Lisa I thought the movie was great very entertaining had a lot of laughs I enjoyed it very much thank you and Tim Allen is always great I liked him in Tool Time and I loved him in Last Man Standing watch this movie if you want a light-hearted amusing movie Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/29/21 Full Review anna c "The Six Wives of Henry La Fey" has some great laughs and great performances, and was well worth the rental. I wasn't expecting much and got a pleasant surprise from this indie-comedy. La Fey (Tim Allen) has a group of women he's been married to all living in the same backwater town. His daughter Barbie (Elisha Cuthbert) can barely stand him, and after seeing her father extremely embarrass her, Barbie says she never wants to see him again. She gets her wish, and a year later, it seems he's died in Mexico. Barbie decides she wants to lay her dad to rest with a "modicum of dignity", which will be difficult considering the six wives Henry had, all demanding their own way of seeing him off. This was a really funny movie. The jokes are for the most part pretty clean, you could watch this with the family and not face any problems. The direction is great, there aren't any unnecessary scenes. But perhaps the best thing about this movie is the cast. Tim Allen nails a hysterical performance, and Elisha Cuthbert proves herself as adept a lead as Allen. The rest of the cast, mainly Henry's wives, all turn in funny, funny performances. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member As crazy as this scenario is, I like this movie for it had some of the realistic moments in it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/22/23 Full Review Audience Member I really tried to like this but scene after scene just chipped away any good feeling. What a waste of everybody's time. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Somewhat funny mess of a film. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Audience Member This was better than it sounds. The character development is great, and while the twist at the end is predictable it's also satisfyingly neat. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Rated: 1/4 Dec 26, 2010 Full Review Brian Orndorf BrianOrndorf.com Part madcap comedy, part weepy funeral saga, the picture is a mess, hopelessly failing a colorful cast making an effort to lend the film some personality.
