Andrew Pollard Starburst There really isn't anything that could've saved The 27 Club from being an utter stinker when the basic fundamentals of its premise and screenplay were so poorly constructed to begin with. Rated: 2/10 Jun 11, 2019 Full Review Adam Mock Film Inquiry Bottom line, this was a cheaply made streaming title with little to no thought put into it. May 11, 2019 Full Review Bobby LePire Film Threat The 27 Club is too competent in its structure and pace to be so bad; it's good recommendation. Yet due to the bland, forgettable acting, the characters who don't have any arc to speak of, and the rote, drab visual presentation, the movie is dull viewing. You could see that there at least somebody involved was genuinely trying to make a movie here. The payoff for that is virtually nil, and the poor performances that carry along this unfulfilled story would bring down that payoff even if there was one, but still, I did get the feeling that maybe, with some drastic changes this might have been...
