My biggest tip for enjoying this slasher film: turn it into a drinking game and take a shot every time you predict what's going to happen. You might be wasted by the time the movie is over, but you'll enjoy The 6th Friend that much more.

The 6th Friend is a film that many viewers may feel a bit blasé about. It isn't terrible, but it isn't particularly thrilling or scary either. If anything, I found the scenes involving humor to stand out more than the scenes of terror.

Me and my girls loved the movie! Dunno why people are poopoo-ing on it. The acting was great. I’ve seen plenty of horrible actors in movies and this isn’t them. All 6 of them pretty good! The passion, the story line and the ending actually was a surprise to us.

The acting skills of a porn film. Took too long for any action, and I lost count how many times I rolled my eyes. Typical stupid victims that would lay screaming when a zippo lighter is thrown long distance without the flame blowing out, then lay still, screaming as they light on fire. Terrible

I know Slasher movies nowadays aren't necessarily the scariest they have been, but this movie kept me railed in until the predictable ending. The acting wasn't the worst I seen, but I felt the acting was good enough to the point where people would not complain about the acting. The storyline is believable to an extent, but the movie never feels boring.

What saves this movie from being passable is how interwoven one of the twists are (relating to a certain character and their habit). Jamie easily outshines. And while the script could've used more refining and a few characters could've been fleshed out more than they were, The 6th Friend is worth a watch.
