Roy H Barbara Dane was a remarkable individual. She was a talented singer in a variety of genre's - folk (praised by Bob Dylan), jazz (Louis Armstrong's band) and jazz diva, soul and spiritual (played with Chambers Brothers), on and on. She was also a tireless champion of people's rights, involved in a lot of the political activities of the 60's. It was announced that an hour-long portion of this film will be shown on PBS in March, 2026. Don't miss it!! Barbara Dane is someone we should all learn about and this film is a beautiful portrayal of an extraordinary woman. I’m going to see it again.
