SkyRo P "The A-List" is a coming-of-age story centered around a teenage boy and a popular group of students aiming to climb the ranks and secure a coveted spot on the school's elite list. While the film is geared towards a younger audience, it still offers an enjoyable and entertaining watch when given the chance. The character of guidance counselor Sylvia is portrayed in a questionable manner, with her exaggerated antics and questionable decisions leaving viewers perplexed. Her handling of situations, especially involving students, may come across as unrealistic and jarring to some audience members. Similarly, the portrayal of the principal is unsettling, as the character's actions and dialogue, such as references to making meth, seem out of place and overly exaggerated. The inconsistency in character development and behavior may leave viewers feeling disconnected from the storyline. Despite these shortcomings, the cast delivers commendable performances, showcasing their talent and chemistry on screen. However, the film's weak writing detracts from the overall credibility of the characters and their relationships, leading to confusion and missed opportunities for deeper connections. In conclusion, while "The A-List" has its flaws, including questionable character portrayals and writing issues, it still manages to provide an enjoyable viewing experience for those willing to overlook its shortcomings and appreciate the efforts of the talented cast. I need a shower after this sleazy film about a deranged guidance counselor as portrayed within a failed attempt at quirky comedy involving teen victimization. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Cute low budget teen flick with an interesting twist. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Unrealistic and cliche, but I enjoyed it and appreciate the cinematography. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews
