Audience Member You'll never forget this was made in 1934 about characters two generations before (circa 1875). Boles and Dunne play their roles beautifully and the movie moves at a nice clip, staying interesting to the end. There is no filler here; just a well-told story of fictional nineteenth century aristocratic life. Boles is outstanding, Dunne is acceptable, and Haydon less so. Westley, as the grandmother, is a delight to behold. This is life among the 1% in aristocratic New York society.
