Owen Gleiberman Entertainment Weekly Rated: D Sep 7, 2011 Full Review Jane Stefanski Empire Magazine However average it is, it still passes an hour and a half. Rated: 3/5 Mar 24, 2008 Full Review Brian Lowry Variety Working a bit too hard to send the crowd into a frenzy, the action in this basketball-oriented yarn isn't exactly fantastic, but it is mildly entertaining. Kate W Continues to be a very watchable movie. If only it was available on UK streaming. Kevin Bacon in the lead role is perfect. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/06/24 Full Review steve d Bacon is always great but there isn't much else here. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member A feel good basketball comedy classic. The JD shake and bake isn’t much of a move but Kevin Bacon is great in this. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 10/14/19 Full Review Audience Member I watched this when I was ten and seemed so intense Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/18/19 Full Review Audience Member This is a favorite film of my family's. My parents were missionaries in an African country and my siblings and spent much time there. We always love watching films that capture the African spirit. This one does such a good job of depicting the warm humor, sense of community, cultural traditions, and beauty of the African people. But, it is, after all a comedy. It's such a fun sports film that always reminds me a little of Cool Runnings. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Inspiring and funny. Good for the whole family Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/23/23 Full Review Read all reviews
