Stephen Saito Moveable Fest While the prospect of immortality clearly has its downsides in "The Amaranth," Chi's first feature is as full of life as its characters would seem to possess. Oct 30, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews

Danay H Had such high hopes for this movie but it missed the mark, left too many questions unanswered and it was slow. The potential was there…ugh!! Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/24 Full Review a.l.jude p Strange yet memorable. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review tom m Moderately entertaining. Good production value, writing and acting. The story was just fair, though. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member I liked it and the message it had. However, funny thing happened, I had completely forgotten I had already seen it. I went to my queue, and it told me I had already watched it. So I had to rewind and replay a few seconds, and then I remembered the film. That's probably not a good sign. Maybe I watched it while I was sleepy. But the message is poignant, even though it felt a bit on the cheap side. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Low budget indie thriller with better than average performances and production values. Thoughtful creepy story about how far amoral, rich, old, white people will go to maintain their youth. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Predictably dialog and storyline makes this slow mystery tedious. Poor audio is usually indicative of subpar movie making and that rule held true as well. Not worth the time. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Read all reviews
