Mitch M May 18 Essentially a good, funny film spoiled by the subliminal message that the ignorant Scots need guidance from the English to civilise and educate them about their own culture and heritage. See more 12/29/2021 Ken Loach stranamente prende spunto da un pozzo di personaggi in cui aveva già pescato; quello dei servizi sociali; e questo probabilmente è l'unico aspetto in cui il film si ripete in maniera simile a quello che fu il suo "My name is Joe". Per questo, almeno inizialmente, si fatica leggermente a salire a bordo; ma una volta che la trama prende piega, ci si appassiona inesorabilmente per la sorte del protagonista seguendolo nell'altalena di emozioni che si alternano.
