Arthur Jones and Giorgio Angelini’s brisk feature-length documentary is very good on the hive mind of 4chan, where it was all about the lulz, but struggles to encompass how the real-world feedback mutated the site’s peculiar DNA. Go to Full Review

It’s more engaging than a lot of this doc subgenre by virtue of the filmmaking acumen of its directors. Go to Full Review

This film’s thoroughness and significance aren’t to blame for the problem, but it’s hard to come out of it feeling anything but dismay. Go to Full Review

Pete M 12/31/2024 It started off decent but sunk its fangs into politics and didn’t let go. The documentary blasts certain groups for purportedly spreading misinformation and “trolling” while also ridiculing, generalizing, and demonizing that same group—the irony. If the documentary was intended to “troll” said group instead of unintentionally “trolling” under the guise of some misinformed sense of righteousness, I would’ve liked it better; there is humor in irony. However, I truly don’t think that was the case. See more Chinu D 08/15/2024 Its a really good movie. The gullibility of society from misinformation online today blows my mind (and I just about remember when it was tabloids, at least you could wipe your ass with that c**p) this documentary brilliantly tells how that car crash gradually evolved into the mess today. 👏🏻 I hope we manage to correct the course somewhat. See more Brad W 07/06/2024 This seemed totally legit when the building of the story was happening. Then the closing seemed so scripted and predictable. Wow it's seems like they are just telling on themselves. So your professional liers. OK cool and anonymous it still in operation.🤔 See more maureen b 06/23/2024 Triple thumbs up 👍🏾 See more Read all reviews
