Craig Mathieson The Age (Australia) Arthur Jones and Giorgio Angelini’s brisk feature-length documentary is very good on the hive mind of 4chan, where it was all about the lulz, but struggles to encompass how the real-world feedback mutated the site’s peculiar DNA. Apr 18, 2024 Full Review Brian Tallerico RogerEbert.com It’s more engaging than a lot of this doc subgenre by virtue of the filmmaking acumen of its directors. Rated: 2.5/4 Mar 16, 2024 Full Review Richard Whittaker Austin Chronicle Angelini and Jones are desperately pointing out that the virtual house is on fire, and the flames have spread into the real world. Mar 12, 2024 Full Review Abe Friedtanzer Cinema Daily US This film’s thoroughness and significance aren’t to blame for the problem, but it’s hard to come out of it feeling anything but dismay. Rated: B+ Jul 27, 2024 Full Review Archi Sengupta LeisureByte.com It’s a fascinating documentary with its own demerits, but one that viewers will be able to move past easily, especially thanks to those beautiful animations and gritty storytelling. Rated: 3.5/5 Jul 4, 2024 Full Review Jose Solís Common Sense Media Watching The Antisocial Network: Memes to Mayhem feels like watching a nightmare come to life. Chinu D Its a really good movie. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/15/24 Full Review Бавуу Э From the rise of QAnon to the Jan. 6 Capitol riot, this documentary film explains how a group of bored teenagers built an online community out of their shared loneliness but accidentally shattered consensus reality in the process. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/15/24 Full Review K D If you down vote this because it triggers you. “U mad bro?” Time to grow up. The gullibility of society from misinformation online today blows my mind (and I just about remember when it was tabloids, at least you could wipe your ass with that c**p) this documentary brilliantly tells how that car crash gradually evolved into the mess today. 👏🏻 I hope we manage to correct the course somewhat. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/14/24 Full Review Brad W This seemed totally legit when the building of the story was happening. Then the closing seemed so scripted and predictable. Wow it's seems like they are just telling on themselves. So your professional liers. OK cool and anonymous it still in operation.🤔 Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/06/24 Full Review maureen b Triple thumbs up 👍🏾 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/23/24 Full Review Scott F Brainwashed lefties ,u know when someone's got blue hair it's gonna be one sided unfortunately Rated 1 out of 5 stars 04/26/24 Full Review Read all reviews
