Der Film erzählt, humorvoll und unbeschwert das Leben von Motti Wolkenbruch (gespielt von Joel Basman) eines jugendlichen orthodoxen Juden. Die Geschichte gibt einen Einblick in die jiddische Sprache und ihren Jüdischen Lebensstil. Der Film ist eine klassische Komödie, mit gut gesielten Charakteren. See more 07/03/2020 This movie is definitely an acquired taste if you are a Jew whose mother somewhat resembles his this is the best movie in the world. Edit: Okay I read some of the other critics and this movie is not offencive that's what comedies are about they point out stereotypes and they exaggerate them that is what it is all about. See more 01/19/2020 While it had its moments, the 100% mocking/negative portrayal of the Orthodox Jewish world was both unrealistic and offensive. The mother was a pure stereotype without a single redeeming feature. A better movie would have showed both some positive aspects of the Jewish world alongside the allure/attractiveness of the secular life Motti was awakened to. See more 12/01/2019 Unoriginal.
