Its goal is clear—fun, laughter, and straightforward enjoyment—and it achieves this through over-the-top, stereotypical characters that surprisingly work within the film’s logic. The cast is practical and functional, with Samara Weaving standing out as the attractive lead. The script embraces its silliness, absurdity, and occasional forced moments, but never pretends to be deep or sophisticated. Not funny & definitely not scary. It kinda reminds me of another movie "Ready or not (2019), but specifically it's ending only. That movie had more substance but the ending was a hot mess. So this one is a hot mess in its entirety. Why am I bringing that movie up now? Because Samara Weaving was in the leading role as well. A flop.
