Mike McCahill Guardian You sense Whitehall and co-writer Freddy Syborn egging one another on to see who can scrape the bottom of the barrel quickest and loudest. Rated: 2/5 Aug 25, 2015 Full Review Guy Lodge Variety A sequel may be far from a guaranteed prospect, but the pic does establish the elastic-faced Whitehall as a film-anchoring comic presence (and writer) for other, similarly lightweight vehicles. Aug 24, 2015 Full Review Fionnuala Halligan Screen International Childish? Yes, of course; this is schoolboy humour run amok. Funny? Bad Education is unexpectedly hilarious ... Aug 21, 2015 Full Review Nick Evan-Cook One Room With A View The Bad Education Movie's crass humour will offer much to enjoy for fans of the series and Whitehall himself, but will do little for anyone not already on board. Rated: 2/5 May 4, 2019 Full Review Jason Best Movie Talk The comedy is broad and the hijinks mostly puerile, with far too many episodes involving threats to and exposure of Alfie's testicles. Other gags, however, are set up with impressive care. Rated: 3/5 May 27, 2016 Full Review Chris Tilly IGN Movies Ultimately there are enough good jokes to make the feature a worthwhile endeavour. Sahooon C I am so dissapointed in this film. I absolutely LOVED the TV show and was so excited when I heard this was coming but it's full of chidish jokes that didn't match the TV shows vibe at all and if I am honest it's what ruined this film. There are plenty of jokes that would've been in the TV show that were great and was nice to see the big actors return but the headteacher, Alfies dad and now GF needed more screen time. The headteacher was a key character in the show and his lack of screen time here was felt Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/03/23 Full Review Joshua H It was a stupid movie in every way, which is why it was so enjoyable. It knew exactly what it was, making it a fun watch. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 06/11/22 Full Review liam s After watching the series back in the start of 2020 im surprised ive not watched this film but today i did and i do think the story is good considering the entire show is a class in a class room but if your british you will love this. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/22 Full Review Audience Member The movie has some funny bits. I really recommend watching the tv series that the movie is based on. The show is much better than the movie. All of the actors and actresses in both the show and the movie do an excellent job. It is a bit silly, but very funny if you don't take it too seriously. Jack Whitehall does an amazing job, and deserves more credit! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Audience Member I really remember enjoying the series of Bad Education but after watching this it was sort of a let down, there's some good funny moment's throughout this movie but apart from that there's so many scenes which don't make much sense on how they happened. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/20/23 Full Review Audience Member It's quite filthy...but I still found myself bursting out with laughter all the way through!
