Cary Darling Fort Worth Star-Telegram/DFW.com By the time the intricate plot and not particularly satisfying payoff are revealed at the film's end, many viewers will feel like they were the ones left holding the bag. Rated: 2/5 Mar 7, 2014 Full Review Tom Long Detroit News A noirish kill fest stocked with offbeat characters, lots of gunplay, unlikely plot turns and a lavishly coiffed Robert De Niro. Giorgio G Though it's an extremely cool movie which I had seen already 10 years ago, oddly enough I had forgotten at least half of the details. Thus, once again it was a delight to see John Cusack as the nonchalant assassin, hanging in-between his abilities and lack of others. Even as a second time it's a 7/10 points! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/22/24 Full Review Gezza Sit back, relax and enjoy John Cusack's laconic, understated acting style. It's an all star cast playing off-beat characters which makes it fun and intriguing. Unlike what most reviewers say, it's not really about the bag or what's in the bag - it's the journey to survive 1 night in a Motel room where no-one can be trusted. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/03/23 Full Review bob c Junk. John Cusack finished a while back. But de Niro should still apologise. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Feels very much like a stage play, but a few central performances keep the interest going, especially Cusack. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Excellent thriller, watched it at least 3 times.
