Gary Y I can honestly say it is the most dreadful movie I have seen for a long time, don't waste your time. It is set in England sometime in 1945 during WW2, and they keep having air raids when the last German air raid was May 1944, if you don't include a single German bomber over Hull. The lack of time spent on detail is overwhelming and that includes the props. The relationship between the main protagonist and her housemaid is rediculous, you would never have a housemaid talking to you like that or asking personal questions. There are no new ideas, it's tedious and unconvincing The acting is ropey to say the least with totally unconvincing characters. The only good thing was the end...
