Martin B This ranks right down there in one of the worst movies I ever seen. It wasn't a beast it was a machine. The animals weren't the eyes they were attacking the humans and if you're going to take over the world starting with a desolate, thinly populated area not the best place to start. Horrid script, clunky acting with tortured line delivery, amateur action scenes….just wretched even by 1950's standards. Save your self from this beast of a movie avoid it at all costs. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/25/23 Full Review Serge C No doubt Hitchcock got inspiration from this Corman B-movie but the beast reveal was a letdown. 🍿1/2 Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 08/30/23 Full Review william k Extremely low-budget sci-fi horror with some risible 'shock' moments and working mostly on creepy atmosphere takes way too long to give the audience a short glimpse of its truly ridiculous alien. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Campy 1950s science fiction about a group of desert dwelling families having to fight off an alien that can control animals to do it's bidding. Cows attack hapless women, dogs terrify families, and chickens become very scary. Bad acting and the low budget makes this early Roger Corman production a pretty silly film that is mostly to be enjoyed on a so-bad-it's-good level of entertainment. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Not one of the better "B" movies I've seen but it had it's moments. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member A bit of a gimmick with the false marketing, but it's kind of an interesting parallel. But not interesting enough, the pacing is bad and there isn't enough going on throughout. The characters get dull and the film ends rather uninspired.
