Audience Member There comes a day it's better to retire from your current profession and eventually start a new one or do nothing at all. This moment was clearly noticeable in his movie 'LISBON STORY' - that was the beginning of the end. Wenders - whose previous movies are really remarkable - did not acknowledge it's time to stop - as a result, each following movie became less important and worse. As an admirer of his work I don't know what else say as that 'The Beautiful Days Of Aranjuez' is a 'real disaster'. The appearance of Nick Cave is nothing more than a scenery, adds no real value or save this movie from becoming the most boring movie made in a history. The dialog between the two actors is definitely not suitable for a movie, becomes boring within 3, and is a punishment for the spectator after 10 minutes. The shots where the jukebox appears were made with the lack of knowledge how to light a scene, and destroys the appearance of Nick Cave too. I'm terribly sorry there was no one to stop Wim Wenders from making this movie. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review Read all reviews
