This is NOT 93% on Rotten Tomatoes material. It IS entertaining and it DOES have good ideas. IF they were going for a "Made In The 80s" vibe then they have definitely succeeded. It is a very primitive and film-schooly production as far as the writing, acting, cinematography, editing, sound design, etc. That said: If you like kitschy indie productions then this IS for you. More of a 75% than a 93%, though.

The Becomers took me by surprise! I expected it to be unique, artsy, and entertaining. It was! I just didn’t expect to LOVE IT the way I did. I was thoroughly engrossed and rode the action effortlessly from start to finish. I did not think that the cult was a derailment (as described in another review). To me it spoke simply of the fact that you never know who someone is and what they are about until you can see deeper into them and their lives, which seems to be a basic truth. The score was really just spot on!!
