In all The Bestowal is a bold, idea-driven arthouse conversation piece, bolstered by two committed performances but weighed down with relentlessly heavy subject matter and unadventurous cinematography. (Article includes video interview with director.) Go to Full Review

Wise, honest and heartfelt albeit somewhat preachy. It's a perfect antidote to Hollywood's loud, vapid and mindless blockbusters. Fans of cerebral sci-fi films like The Man From Earth will love it. Go to Full Review

04/28/2020 I really enjoyed this dialogue-driven film that thoughtfully explores life and death and even the afterlife via a visiting being from a different dimension. Be prepared for two long conversations, twenty years apart. I found it totally worth it. See more 10/22/2019 A thought provoking feature that covers many important societal issues that we grapple with on a daily basis. The writing is very brilliant and the actress does an amazing job!
