It benefits from a solid performance by Lee as the blue-collar fighter who takes justice with punches and kicks, but it often falls into a vacuum of redundancy that takes all the pulse out of its predictable revenge plot. [Full review in Spanish]

clear tension between Lo's desire for more comical violence (at one point Cheng throws a character through a wall, leaving a Looney Tunes-esque person-shaped hole) and Lee's desire for more realistic fighting

Filme bacaninha, o roteiro é mais ou menos, as cenas são bacaninhas, a história é mais ou menos, o elenco é mais ou menos, e só o Bruce Lee do elenco ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são mais ou menos, e o filme tem cenas bacaninhas de luta, com tudo isso, eu até recomendo muito esse filme.

Movie is an exciting star making vehicle for Bruce Lee. Film really pushes all the right emotional buttons, as Lee, new to Thailand, starts off, by staying out of daily melees, but when drug smuggling goons go after his family, Lee unloads his martial arts, fists, kicks, gravity defying leaps, knifes, axes, sticks, on the bad guys. Surprisingly gory, with brutal fights, with one especially epic final boss battle that is expertly choreographed for maximum excitement.
