Pat C Standard western fare with subtle similarities to Shane, especially in the background music with Alan Ladd playing basically the same character 3 years later. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/19/24 Full Review Audience Member I absolutely love this one highly recommend it, James Welch, Henderson, Arkansas October 30, 2023 Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Standard western. Highlight is the song "I Leaned On A Man", which is totally out of place here. Better fitted to Lena Horne in a Cab Calloway film. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Plot: writing 101 simple, and predictable Character development: poor Empathy for protagonist: 1 thru 10 = 3 Attempts at humor: sorry This movie could be the flip side of: Plan 9 From Outer Space' Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member 140925: A little slow paced. Reminds a bit of Unforgiven (1992). One violent surprising death that caught me off guard. Have never really appreciated Ladd, even in Shane (1953). He just comes across so flat. Brog, Caruso, seemed a bit silly in his totally black outfit and, in my opinion, did not fit the villain well. Not a bad film, just not a good one. Seemed a quick ending.
