I really enjoyed the Doctor Blake Mysteries and the character of Julian, so I was hesitant to watch the "sequel". But, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The show is just as good as the original. The returning cast are still as enjoyable as the first series. Especially Jean, taking over the detective reins from her missing husband. I look forward to watching more.
