John J. O'Connor New York Times The Blue Knight strives intelligently for that elusive television commodity called quality. And whenever any network shows signs of trying to meet its obligations in that area, the effort alone can be invigorating. Jun 24, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member Realistic cop drama, sort of a character study of an aging policeman who struggles with himself in order to retire from his job and start a new life with his girlfriend. The movie is a masterpiece in it's every element and still holds it's actuality today. William Holden in the lead is just brilliant, one of his best works of his career. Highly recommended.
