A technical marvel, The Blue Rose demonstrates a vast amount of potential for someone still so early in their career. Fans of David Lynch are sure to be entertained with this head-scratching and kooky story that embraces the bygone era of the fifties.

This was like watching the dollar store version of a M. Night Shyamalan movie. Nothing made sense. I almost turned it off halfway through but thought maybe at some point the storyline would be explained. It wasn’t. This was the worst movie I’ve ever seen.

A little over a hundred minutes of someone taking the analogy "throw things at the wall and see what sticks" to mishandle just about every horro trope possible. It drags on in a way that never really sets up the story, and the acting and writing combo are migraine worthy.
